| Full Description | The neurosurgical spine post-doctoral research fellow will lead and participate in clinical research projects regarding spine surgery and function as a vital team member in the spine outcomes lab at 91吃瓜网 Medical Center in the Department of Neurosurgery. Responsibilities will include project management, patient recruitment, data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, statistical testing, literature review, manuscript preparation, and abstract preparation. The applicant should ideally hold an MD (or equivalent) in hopes of applying in neurosurgery residency in the next 2-3 years. The position is expected to be a minimum of 2 years. The Post-doc will work under Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, Dr. Gabrielle Santangelo, a spine surgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery, and will collaborate with other faculty and staff within the department. Mentorship for an academic career in Neurosurgery will be provided. |
