Hazing Investigation, Review, and Resolution Processes
Student Accountability, Community Standards & Academic Integrity will promptly review all reports of听hazing听in accordance with听University听policy. Upon receiving a report of听hazing, Student Accountability will first assess whether sufficient information is available to听permit听investigation, including whether the reported activity, if true, violates University policy. Details such as the name of the organization, date, location, and time of the alleged听hazing, description of the activities, and any supporting documentary or other evidence will be considered during review as well as any听subsequent听investigation. If it is听determined听that an investigation is听appropriate, the University will then听conduct an investigation听to听determine听whether a policy violation has occurred.听听If an investigation is听warranted, Student Accountability may meet with new members, current members, leaders, alumni, advisors, witnesses, or other affected parties to take statements and ask investigative questions.听
Should the investigation uncover sufficient information to charge an organization with听hazing, the organization will receive notice and the Student Organization Procedures for the Accountability Process will be followed. Should the investigation uncover sufficient information to charge an individual with听hazing, the individual will receive听notice听and the Student Accountability process will be followed. Should an organization be found responsible for hazing, they will be sanctioned as outlined in the section of the Handbook. Unrecognized, Suspended, or Expelled Organizations
Listed below are student organizations that have been suspended or expelled from the University and are not currently recognized. All RSOs affiliated with the University are granted certain privileges and the ability to operate, as described in the听听section of the Student Handbook. The following student organizations are not currently recognized by the University, are not approved to operate as a student organization, and hold no privileges as described in the听听section because of hazing and other violations of University policy.
Hazing Transparency Report
The Hazing Transparency Report, which follows, provides information about any Registered Student Organization (RSO) that has been found responsible for hazing since January 2025.
*Note: Investigation Timeline refers to the primary investigation and the review of reported evidence, efforts to corroborate reports, meetings with witnesses and impacted parties, etc. Investigative steps continue through the organization鈥檚 Accountability Meeting Date. There may be a delay between the Accountability Meeting Date and the Outcome Letter Date as 91吃瓜网 and national organizations may work together to jointly present outcomes and ensure language alignment across communications.
