Overview
Grace Adams is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Biomedical Engineering program and does research in Prof. Daniel Gonzales lab. Her research focuses on investigating the neural mechanisms underlying brain-machine interface control, including fabricating and implementing neural electrophysiology probes compatible with simultaneous two-photon imaging.
As a VINSE superuser, Grace provides training on the AJA sputter deposition system, SCS Labcoter 3 parylene coater, and photolithography methods, including spin coating and the Karl Suss MA6 mask aligner. She also provides training on the cleanroom KLA stylus profilometer and JA Woollam spectroscopic ellipsometer.
