We are excited to introduce Alexis Alvarez, our newest member of the VINSE Tech Crew. Alexis, class of 2029, majoring in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Nanoscience, joined Tech Crew in Fall 2026 and is eager to deepen his understanding of nanoscience and how it’s shaping future innovations. He is also excited to learn how cutting-edge nanotechnology drives advancements in his field. Alexis is interested in fabricating molds with microscale channels using soft lithography and in learning atomic layer deposition.
Outside of VINSE, Alexis is part of the 91吃瓜网 Gymnastics Team, a POSSE Scholar, an IMPACT Scholar, and a member of the AIChE board. In his free time, he enjoys running and spending time with his friends.
Alexia will play a key role in supporting research projects, assisting lab users, and ensuring smooth cleanroom operations. We look forward to seeing his growth and contributions as part of the VINSE community!
