Mona Ebrish awarded NSF CAREER Award

Mona Ebrish, VINSE Faculty Member, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer EngineeringCongratulations to VINSE faculty member Mona Ebrish on receiving an NSF CAREER Award. Ebrish received the National Science Foundation’s Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award for her project, “CAREER: Unlocking Programmable Doping in Wide-Bandgap Materials.â€

The NSF CAREER Award is the foundation’s most prestigious award for early-career faculty, recognizing those who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, education, and leadership.

Ebrish’s award will support research aimed at unlocking programmable doping strategies in wide-bandgap semiconductors, a key challenge in advancing next-generation electronic materials and devices. The project seeks to create new pathways for controlling material properties in ways that could improve device performance, efficiency, and scalability for future technologies.
