Congratulations to VINSE faculty member Mona Ebrish on receiving an NSF CAREER Award. Ebrish received the National Science Foundation’s Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award for her project, “CAREER: Unlocking Programmable Doping in Wide-Bandgap Materials.â€
The NSF CAREER Award is the foundation’s most prestigious award for early-career faculty, recognizing those who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, education, and leadership.
Ebrish’s award will support research aimed at unlocking programmable doping strategies in wide-bandgap semiconductors, a key challenge in advancing next-generation electronic materials and devices. The project seeks to create new pathways for controlling material properties in ways that could improve device performance, efficiency, and scalability for future technologies.
