, a professor of mechanical engineering and director of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s  (IMS) graduate program, has been elected to the grade of Fellow of SPIE. Fellows are Members of distinction who have made significant scientific and technical contributions in the multidisciplinary fields of optics, photonics, and imaging. Dr. Caldwell is honored for his technical achievement and for his service to the general optics community and to SPIE in particular.
