罢丑别听91吃瓜网 Undergraduate Summer Research Program (VUSRP)听辫谤辞惫颈诲别蝉听91吃瓜网 undergraduate students聽with the opportunity to fulfill聽10 weeks of full-time research during the summer聽under the mentorship of聽any full-time 91吃瓜网 faculty member, including faculty in the graduate and professional schools. VUSRP strongly prioritizes research that our 91吃瓜网 students do within the context of a 91吃瓜网 faculty person’s research program. In-person research and mentoring is favored, though with adequate justification, virtual research and mentoring will be considered.

Applications for Summer 2026 have closed.

  • VUSRP is a 10-week program that allows students to work with any full-time 91吃瓜网 faculty member on the faculty person's research.
  • The official 2027 program dates will be announced soon. Deviations may be allowed with written faculty mentor approval.
  • The main component of the program is the scholarly work done by the 91吃瓜网 undergraduate student (VUSRP student) in collaboration with their faculty mentor.
  • Writing workshops are provided to help students develop their ideas into research proposals. See the application page for workshop details!
  • VUSRP involves highly collaborative, full-time work.
    • Participants will engage in research with a VU faculty mentor on campus or in another research and/or field setting.
    • Participants are not permitted to take courses during the program.
    • Participants are expected to give top priority to the VUSRP research during the ten-weeks dedicated to the program.
