Stephanie A. Roth (she/her/hers), Associate Vice Chancellor for Equal Access:ÌýAs Associate Vice Chancellor, Stephanie provides strategic leadership, support, and guidance across Equal Access in the Division of Administration at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø. Stephanie oversees the Equal Opportunity and Access office, the Student Access office, and the Title IX office. These offices are responsible for coordinating and monitoring 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s compliance with the requirements of federal and state nondiscrimination laws; ensuring the prompt and equitable resolution of reports of sexual misconduct, other forms of discrimination and harassment, and retaliation; and establishing training and outreach initiatives that support a discrimination- and harassment-free learning, working, and living environment.

Batia Karabel (she/her/hers), Director of Strategic Optimization: Batia is responsible for oversight of major projects across the Equal Access teams. Before joining Equal Access, Batia oversaw investigations into reports of misconduct, including Title IX and other forms of prohibited discrimination. She received a B.A. in Religion from Vassar College and a master’s degree in Organization and Leadership, Higher and Postsecondary Education from Columbia University. Before coming to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, Batia was the Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Title IX Investigator at Vassar College where she also worked in Residential Life.

Chelsea Campbell (she/her/hers), Executive Coordinator: Chelsea directly supports AVC Roth and Director Karabel and assists with many projects across Equal Access. Chelsea also serves as the Financial Unit Manager for Equal Access and is responsible for assuring that all transactions are accurate and comply with applicable university and departmental policies. Prior to joining 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, Chelsea worked at UCLA and Northwestern University. Chelsea received a Bachelor of Arts in Health Policy from the University of Michigan and is PMP-certified by the Project Management Institute.

Tammy M. King (she/her/hers), Office Manager: As the Office Manager, Tammy is frequently the first point of contact for persons engaging with the office. Tammy also manages the budget, assists the Title IX and EOA staff as needed, and coordinates the office calendar. Prior to joining 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, Tammy worked for the Metropolitan Nashville Public School system in a variety of positions.

Allie Marshall (she/her/hers), Case Manager: Allie supports the coordination and administration of investigations for the Title IX and Equal Opportunity teams. Her work focuses on maintaining efficient internal processes and helping ensure cases progress smoothly from initiation through resolution.
She collaborates closely with colleagues to monitor case progress, address potential delays, and support overall workflow management across the team.ÌýPrior to this role, Allie spent over four years in talent acquisition, supporting hiring for complex roles through candidate-centered processes. An alum of Berklee College of Music, she brings a people-centered, detail-oriented approach to her work, with an emphasis on collaboration and thoughtful execution.

Matthew Meyers (he/him/his), Informal Resolution and Supportive Measures Manager: As the Informal Resolution and Supportive Measures Manager for 91³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Office for Equal Access, Matthew facilitates informal resolution processes and coordinates supportive measures for students, staff, and faculty regarding allegations of protected class discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Previously, Matthew served as an investigator in 91³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Title IX and Equal Opportunity and Access Offices. Matthew is also a trained Rule 31 mediator in the state ofÌýTennessee. He earned his B.B.A. in Music Business cum laude from Belmont University and his J.D. from Belmont University College of Law.

Will Porter (he/him/his), Training Manager: Will supports Equal Access’s training initiatives and education strategy through curriculum development and delivery. Will received his B.A. in Business Management from Auburn University and his Master of Public Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Previously, Will served in organizational development and HR roles at Encompass Health, UAB, and the UT Institute for Public Service.
