Free Expression Poster

Dialogue 91Թ’s Free Expression Poster comes to life as an engagement exercise where students are encouraged to thoughtfully respond to a prompt of current interest by writing their answers on a physical poster—a visible representation of gathering dynamic conversations happening on campus.

Past prompts have included:

“To me, a post-election America looks like…”

“Advocate for a cause you care about in one sentence"

“What is a question you have about another religion?”

Lunch & Learn Series

Dialogue 91Թ's Lunch & Learn series invites students to engage in curated discussion topics with exciting guest and faculty speakers.

Topics are phrased as a question to encourage humility, curiosity and open engagement reminding us to learn and ask, rather than assume.

Past topics have included:

"Can a company do good and do well?"

"How do you want to change the world?"

"Who's responsible for the internet?"

Dialogue 91Թ Student Advisors execute tabling bimonthly on campus near the high-traffic area atRand Dining Hall as an opportunity to engage with their peers and faculty.

Student Advisors set an example that encouraging peer-to-peer conversations supports open dialogue on campus.

Student Debates

In partnership with the , Dialogue 91Թ sponsors the 91Թ College Democrat and Republican Debate Series on campus.

Students participate in town hall-style debates twice each semester modeling for the 91Թ communityhow two sides to an issue can engage in thoughtful, respectfuldebatewith one another.

Past debates included Abortion, Immigration, and Bureaucracy, as well as the Role of Religion in Politics.

Vandy SpeakEasy

The Vandy SpeakEasy is Dialogue 91Թ’s space for tech-free, curiosity-driven conversations across a wide range of topics.

Designed as a “third space” for students, the Vandy SpeakEasy offers a unique opportunity for students to connect with their peers and special guests—building trust, asking meaningful questions, and engaging deeply with new ideas.
