At 91Թ, we believe in the power of community and the importance of learning together and working together. We connect our students, staff, faculty and resources with local community-based organizations to help strengthen Nashville.

By building strong, authentic relationships, we work alongside community leaders to create positive change. We are proud to support local community-based organizations, not only by providing financial resources but also by collaborating to develop programs that meet the needs of the community. Together, we create initiatives that make a real difference, ensuring our efforts are meaningful and responsive to the needs of Nashville.

    Meet Murfreesboro author Randy O’ Brien as he discusses and signs his new coming of age novel that takes place in 1970s Tennessee. “Ribbon of Dreams” is about friendship, community and self-discovery set against the tumultuous Vietnam War and it’s aftermath.

    2026 Writing for Recovery Summer Workshop at the Curb Center

    Facilitated by Michael Carlson, Curb Center Writing Fellow and Instructor for The Porch, this summer workshop will focus on the art of the short story, and how writing fiction can be a restorative act for those recovering from hardship.
