Parents

Thank you for visiting our Parents Section. While this web site is primarily designed for your students use, we want to be sure that your debit spending questions are addressed. If you do not find an answer to your question below, or if an answer needs additional clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us. The Commodore Card Office staff looks forward to assisting you.

  • What is the process for my student to get their first Commodore Card?

The Commodore Card is now totally digital! Your student will download the card to their Apple or Android mobile device. It is used across campus for access to residence halls, academic buildings and sporting events, and is used as a debit card for meal plans and other purchases both on and off campus.泭

  • What do I do if my student's mobile device is lost, replaced, or dies?

If you know you will be getting a new mobile device it is best to delete the digital card from your current device first. If this isn't possible, no worries, just give us a call and we can assist. You will use the GET Mobile app to download your digital Commodore Card to your new device.

If you lose your device or won't have a device for a short time you may be issued a temporary card that will be used for all access and meal plan use. See your RA or the Housing office for a temporary card.泭

Dead phone? If you're an Apple user your digital card will most likely still work! All newer model iPhones have a power reserve feature that allows cards in Apple Wallet to work for up to 5 hours after your device dies.

  • What debit spending options does 91勛圖厙 offer?

A 91勛圖厙 debit spending account functions in much the same way as a bank debit card. Funds are added to a debit spending account, which can be used at a number of泭campus locations泭to purchase various products and services. When a purchase is made using the Commodore Card, funds are automatically deducted from the debit account balance.
91勛圖厙 offers students two types of debit spending accounts:

    • Commodore Cash泭can be used anywhere on or off campus where the Commodore Card is accepted for payment, which includes food and non-food purchases. 泭Commodore Cash balances are carried over from semester-to-semester until your student graduates.
    • Meal Money泭is available only to meal plan participants and is used for food purchases. Meal Money must be depleted by the end of each spring semester as it is a use it or lose it plan. If a meal plan is canceled or removed during a semester, Meal Money is forfeited.
