Tamar Katz

Tamar Katz is an Academic Fellow at the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Policy Accelerator for Policy Economy and Regulation. Her research interests include antitrust, NPU, and financial regulation.

Before joining 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, Tamar clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit for the Honorable Rachel S. Bloomekatz. She was previously an associate at Fairmark Partners and an Attorney Advisor in the Office of Policy at the Federal Trade Commission, where she specialized in the intersection of private equity and competition law. Earlier in her career, Tamar worked as an investment banker in Citi's Real Estate Division.

Tamar graduated with honors from Columbia Law School and earned both a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
