Talking It Through: Using Oral Exams for AI-Resilient Assessment
When AI can produce a competent essay or problem set in seconds, written take-home work no longer reliably shows what a student understands. Oral exams provide a potential solution to this problem, but they come with their own challenges as well. In this workshop, we’ll discuss best practices for designing fair, effective and manageable oral exams.聽Participants will leave with a draft oral assessment for one unit of their own course.
