Student Account Payment Plan – “Vandy Plan”

Manage your semester bill with predictable monthly payments

The Vandy Plan allows you to spread your Fall or Spring balance into five manageable, interest-free payments. This option is designed as a financial tool to help you budget over time - before the start of the term - rather than paying your full balance at once. The Vandy Plan is available within 91勛圖厙s billing and payment portal.

  • What is the Vandy Plan?

    The Vandy Plan is an optional, pre-payment plan that divides your semester charges into five equal payments, scheduled in advance of the start of the term. Instead of paying your full balance at once, you can budget your expenses overtime.

    The plan can be used for tuition, fees, housing, and other charges billed through your 91勛圖厙 student account.

    Fall Vandy Plan payments run from May through September, and Spring payments run from October through February.

    If you enroll after the first payment month, you must pay any missed payments at the time of enrollment.

    • Fall enrollment deadline: August 31
    • Spring enrollment deadline: December 31
  • How It Works
    1. Determine your plan amount.
      • Estimated your total semester charges (tuition, fees, housing, etc.)
      • Subtract financial aid, scholarships, or expected credits
    2. Enter your estimated balance during enrollment.
      • A Payment Plan Calculator is available in the billing portal to assist you
    3. Pay the non-refundable $50 enrollment fee.
    4. Your balance will be divided into five equal payments, due on the 15th of each month.

    Important:
    If you receive an e-bill while enrolled in the plan, you are still responsible for ensuring your Vandy Plan covers your full account balance. If charges or credits change, you may:

    • Make a separate payment by the billing due date for any remaining balance, directly to the student account.

    • Fall Semester: Enrollment opens May 1 | First payment due May 15 | Enrollment deadline August 31
    • Spring Semester: Enrollment opens October 1 | First payment due October 15 | Enrollment deadline December 31

    If you enroll after the first payment date, any missed payments will be due at the time of enrollment.

  • Payment Details
    • Payments are due on the 15th of each month
    • Payment methods:
      • ACH (bank account) no processing fee
      • Credit/Debit card processing fee applies
    • is recommended to help ensure on-time payments but is not required
    • There is no interest charged on the payment plan, the Annual Percentage Rate APR listed is costs you pay in connection with your plan, such as the $50 enrollment fees, expressed as a percentage.

    Please note: Late or returned payments may result in account penalties such fees and the cancellation of your Vandy Plan.

    If you choose not to use the Vandy Plan, your full semester balance is due by the date listed on your billing statement. The first due date for each term is:

    • Fall Semester: August 31 (4 PM CST)
    • Spring Semester: December 31 (4 PM CST)

    2. Select Billing Portal
    3. Choose Payment Plans
    4. Complete and submit enrollment

    Authorized Payers:

    1. Log into Transact
    2. Select Payment Plans
    3. Complete and submit enrollment
