FutureVU Mobility Expo

The Division of Administration hosted a FutureVU Mobility Expo on November 6, 2018. The event served as the public launch of MoveVU, the university’s strategic mobility and transportation plan, and an opportunity to announce that 91³Ô¹ÏÍø received a $4.5 million, three-year federal , which the university will match.

The expo also provided students, faculty and staff an opportunity to explore a variety of efforts and activities, including:

  • 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s mobility and transportation vision and progress
  • Transportation research being conducted by faculty and students
  • Sustainability and how it relates to mobility
  • FutureVU and current building projects on campus
  • A scooter safe-riding course sponsored by 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Public Safety and scooter providers
  • Pop-up crosswalks designed to draw attention to the issue of pedestrian safety
