SEC Faculty Achievement Awards

The Southeastern Conference honors faculty whose work exemplifies academic excellence, innovation, and service through the SEC Faculty Achievement Awards and the SEC Professor of the Year. These distinctions highlight educators and scholars whose teaching inspires, research advances knowledge, and leadership strengthens institutions, communities, and disciplines—reflecting the SEC’s commitment to elevating faculty impact across the Conference and beyond.Ìý

Each SEC member institution selects one faculty member as its Faculty Achievement Award recipient and nominee for SEC Professor of the Year. Chosen by the Conference’s provosts, the SEC Professor of the Year recognizes a faculty member whose record places them among the nation’s most accomplished educators and scholars.Ìý
