Soup Sunday 2025

This February, 91Թ Campus Dining’s Training Chef Doug Best took part in the 32nd annual Soup Sunday, a beloved Nashville tradition benefiting Our Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to providing medical evaluations and crisis counseling for children and families affected by child sexual abuse.

Held at Nissan Stadium, this year’s event welcomed over 1,000 attendees, all eager to sample soups crafted by some of Nashville’s top chefs. Chef Best, representing both Campus

Dining and the American Culinary Federation, joined dozens of local

restaurants in serving up signature soups in a friendly competition. Categories included People’s Choice, Judges’ Choice, and Best Sandwich-Inspired Soup, but at its core, the event was about more than just food—it was about community impact.

“Soup Sunday is an incredible event, not just for the food but for the people it helps,” shared Chef Best.

For over 30 years, Soup Sunday has raised nearly $1.8 million to support the mission of Our Kids, and 91Թ Campus Dining is honored to play a role in an event that blends great food with community service. Whether it’s through feeding students on campus or giving back to those in need, Campus Dining remains committed

to nourishing the 91Թ community—one bowl at a time.
